Frequently asked questions

What is a 3D model, and why would I need one?

It's a GLB file, the standard 3D format the web understands, that shoppers can explore, zoom, and view in Augmented Reality instead of just looking at flat photos. Product pages with interactive 3D tend to convert better because shoppers can check fit and scale before buying.

Do I need special photography equipment?

No. One clear, well-lit product photo is enough. We generate the additional angles automatically as part of the pipeline.

How long does a model take to generate?

Every model takes about 5 minutes: around a minute to read your product from each angle, about three to build and texture the mesh, and a final minute to refine it. We optimize for realism, not speed.

What's Augmented Reality, and is it really on by default?

Augmented Reality (AR) means a shopper points their phone and sees the product at real size in their own room. Every model ships with it built in. It's not a separate add-on or upgrade.

What formats can I export to?

GLB, GLTF, FBX, OBJ, USDZ, STL, or 3MF, depending on where you're using the model.

Can I embed the model on my own store?

Yes. Every generation gets an embeddable viewer. Paste the embed code into any product page, no plugin required. Many platforms also accept the GLB file as a direct upload.

How much does it cost?

Start from $5 and pay as you go, at $2 a model. Larger packs add up to 30% extra credits. Every model is full pro quality with free packshots included. No subscriptions, no hidden costs.

What if the result doesn't look right?

You can regenerate a model, and we're upfront when a source photo is unlikely to work well (for example, reflective or transparent items convert less reliably) rather than promising a result we can't back.

Do you have a public API?

Yes. Generate models, poll status, and pull export formats from your own app using an API key. See the integration guide for details.
